Eros, italienischer Sänger, Songwriter und Produzent, * Rom 28. 10. 1963; nach ersten Erfolgen in Italien glückte ihm 1985 der internationale Durchbruch mit dem Hit »Una Storia importante« aus dem Album »Cuori agitati«; nach seinem Welterfolg mit dem Album »Musica é« 1988 ging Ramazotti auf Tourneen in den USA und Lateinamerika; 1993 erschien das Album »Tutte Storie«, 1996 verkauften sich sechs Millionen Exemplare des Albums »Dove c'é Musica«. Ramazotti schrieb Songs u. a. für Joe Cocker und sang Duette u. a. mit Tina Turner; er erhielt zahlreiche Goldene Schallplatten sowie Preise und Auszeichnungen. Sein Markenzeichen sind gefühlsgeschwängerte, gut arrangierte Popballaden; in den 1990er-Jahren widmete er sich verstärkt der Rockmusik.
